RECAP 12/9-12/10

Our Tri-County team placed 4th out of 8 teams in our pool at the Montville Duals this weekend. After 7 matches in 2 days, our team impressed again with win after win on the mat. A hard fought one point loss to the #3 team, and 6 forfeits against the #2 team, meant we were in it with everyone we faced.

Northwest faced a stacked North Hunterdon team where our K-6 wrestlers went the distance in almost every match. They then asked for more with a half dozen exhibitions after. It’s their hard work, skill, and discipline, along with some really good coaching, that kept us competitive all morning.

Novice had another good day at their Hanover Park Jamboree. Everyone was able to get in 3-4 matches and apparently after nobody else wanted to wrestle us, we started wrestling each other! Coach Tim was bragging that his grapplers continue to learn more about the sport and grow in the Randolph Wrestling tradition.

Clinic got snow, the Big Blizzard that never came. Despite wishing for another on Monday, word is our K-1 team can’t wait to get back in the room next Saturday!
