Fifth Annual Food Drive, benefitting the Interfaith Food Pantry serving Morris County, set for Jan. 28th Wrestlng rivals Randolph and Roxbury are joining forces to continue a five-year tradition. During their upcoming wrestling match on Wednesday, January 28th, the teams will be hosting the 5th Annual RIVALS TAKEDOWN HUNGER Food Drive, to benefit the Interfaith Food Pantry serving Morris County.

The food drive involves both the youth recreation and the high school wrestling programs of Randolph and Roxbury. Roxbury, as the host team this year, is responsible for collecting and delivering the food to the Interfaith Food Pantry. The evening of wrestling competition gets started with the youth wrestling teams from both towns competing in the annual Tri-County Youth Wrestling League match at 5:00 PM. The JV match will also begin at 5:00. The high school varsity match is scheduled for 7:00 pm.

  • Brown and white rice

  • Hearty and low-salt soups

  • Canned meats and meals

  • Shelf-stable milk

  • Individual dry-milk packets

  • Spaghette/tomato sauce

Other items needed include: canned tomatoes, tomato puree, gluten-free pastas and crackers, evaporated milk, healthy breakfast cereals, oatmeal, pancake mix, tuna and other canned fish, peanut butter, jelly, side-dish and meal kits (such as Hamburger Helper®, Rice-A-Roni®), instant potatoes, macaroni & cheese, nutritional supplements (such as Ensure®, Glucerna®), light and no-sugar-added canned fruits, 100% juice, baby food and cereal, diapers, baby wipes, baby formula, laundry detergent, dry and canned beans.
