RAMS CONQUERED BY CRUSADERS
A rare weekend off didn’t seem to help the varsity Rams, as Mt. Olive bested Randolph in a home dual Thursday night, 62-21. The Crusaders took 10 out of the 15 matches contested, and collected two forfeit wins. Pins by Mitch Hert and Evan Cannon narrowed the margin, but were not enough to overcome Mt. Olive’s sweep from 102 through 165 lbs.
The loss drops the Rams to 4-2 in the Tri-County league and 15-8 overall. Next up is the annual Rivals Takedown Hunger meet at Roxbury High School on Wednesday.
All of Randolph’s remaining eight matches are in the Tri-County league.
